Chay I'm a fan of this genre of music - written a few myself. Your mix is excellent - spot on. Another flavor in the mix that caught my attention is the smooth manner of transferring from one movement/section to another. I enjoyed this very much. Thanks! Alan Thanks for the great feedback, Alan. I'd like to do more eclectic mixes, but what I'd love to work with are balalaikas in particular, Arabic instruments and oboes and bassoons, but BiaB doesn't have any.

Oh, so well done, Chay. BTB (Before The Beatles) I had 2 albums of stuff like this that I'd pepper in between some jazz or classical. This is so mind-losingly wonderful, so calming, releasing the i-t-y from reality. Sensational to the point of losing sensation, stripping away the excess to reveal the essence. Maybe a fade would leave the listener calmer than the abrupt ending. Just a thoughtless thought. Wow, that's a heck of a review, Marty! A few persons have used the word "abrupt", but that means "Unexpectedly sudden … Surprisingly curt; brusque" (from a US dick'n'harry) and the end is definitely not abrupt. I like it just as it is, plus it has the birdsong exit, so I won't be changing it. Even if I wanted to I doubt I'd ever have time with also catching up with my remixes as I recently had a mini-stroke, which means a big one is likely this year.

We watched the vid and then listened while gazing out the window at our first snowfall in years. We live within a forest that Janice calls enchanted and your production perfectly sets the mood for us. Excellent! J&B Thanks for the response, Janice & Bud. I really envy you your home as I love what I call Great Nature. 'Enchanted is definitely the right word. I was just thinking back on the most beautiful nature-al sights I've ever seen and the best ever was this: Back in the summer of 1980 I went to Romania to visit relatives - my father was a Romanian national though multi-ethnic - and the return journey was at 04:00 at Constanţa airport and it was pouring down with rain. As the plane took off it flew above the storm clouds just as the sun was rising and suddenly golden 'God rays' seared through all of the dark grey clouds. It was an explosion of golden light, but it was seeing it all from above the clouds that made it mega-epic as it was such a vast panoramic view. Totally magical! Great Nature always blows me a Way!

Hi Chay. What an amazing composition! I thoroughly enjoyed the journey you took me on. The arrangement that grows and develops through instrumentation is outstanding. I love the guzheng opening. It sets the mood perfectly. I'm also incredibly impressed with how this composition has a twist of 'East meets West' but never loses its overarching Eastern music flavour. You are truly quite an amazing composer. --Noel Thanks so much, Noel! That's probably the best review I've ever had on any of my posts! It's really appreciated. Thanks again!

I didn't hear this when you posted it last year. Glad you reposted. What an eclectic blend of instrument that you arranged together seamlessly and naturally. As I was listening, I was curious as to how you would work that organ into the song, but lo and behold, it worked smashingly. Very enjoyable! Thanks for the great response, EeZe Storm. Re the organ, I think it's the only time it's made it's entry halfway through one of my instrumentals. I must try that again!

Hi, Chay. Nice and mellow - nicely done! Except for that not-faded-out ending. Much appreciated, David. Re the ending, please see my repaly to Marty.

Very eastern. Soothing and relaxing, the choice of instruments is perfect for this genre. I like it! Now I'm hungry - for Peking duck Thanks for the response, B.D. When you go for your Peking duck also try out another tasty Chinese dish: Ants Climbing Trees! Thankfully there aren't any ants in it, though at first glance it looks like there is! Easiest eaten with a spoon and fork. Frack faffing around with impractical chopsticks!
