Hi All, Working on Gimme Some Lovin - Spencer Davis Group version. I have found that Eleven modern Pop Rock comes up with a similar style, slow it down to 110 and take oiut all guitars (ready for organ). The Bass riff in the porginal is repetative, and the first bar Band on a Box plays is pretty much good enough, but as the sonmg progresses the bass get to busy and wanders. Is there a way that I can get the bass riff to remain the same as I hcamnge chords?
What I would do is to separate the bass via a stem separation AI; I use Studio One Pro but BiaB has a stem separation tool also, I just do not have any experience with it. Then delete the bass parts you don't want, copy the part(s) you do and paste them where you want them.
I hope this helps and good luck.
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

1. You can copy the segment you want and paste it in as many measures as you want, 2. You can create a loop and drag it out into the track and it will keep repeating. (this was a great feature they added in BiaB 2024).

Is there a video or tutorial to show how do you he loop thing? Can a loop be used, but the insert occasional other measures to add some variety? I'm behind the 8-ball on using loops.

This would have to be posted into a utility track, right? Am I wrong that soundfiles can't be pasted into the bass track?
Highlight the bars you want to copy. Use Alt/F8 to open part regeneration window. Click copy then back to the chord sheet, click a bar where you want to place the copy then click the paste button.

So it's not really the same as using a loop in the traditional sense, it's more about having a set number of measures of an Rt you generated repeat. I could not find the part of the video with a quick search, but it's addressed at the bottom of page 14 of the 2024 BiaB Upgrade/New Features manual. https://nn.pgmusic.com/pgfiles/support/misc/manual/bandinabox_win_2024_upgrade_manual.pdf

Because this signature riff line is monophonic, it's an excellent candidate to use midi to drive the RT2591 bass for this project.
Even though RT2591 doesn't have underlying midi, midi can be added to the track and use the Playable RealTrack feature as the sound source.
In testing, I imported the bass channel from a free midi file from a reliable online Midi Site that had an accurate to the original song's bass line. I tested the midi bass with the default coyote, with a BIAB Hi-Q bass and also used Sforzando with a Timbres of Heaven bass before converting the Mixer Bass Track with RT2591 to a Playable RealTrack.
If you're trying to learn the bass part, this method also provides notation and the bass fretboard and will work in any key or tempo. .
If your BIAB version doesn't have the Playable RealTrack feature, all of the midi options are still available and there are many sound source options. .

I didn't understand what this means. What is the RT2591 bass?

What is Timbres of Heaven bass?

I tested and used the same Eleven modern Pop Rock style you used in your project for the Spencer Davis Group song. RT2591 is the RealTrack Bass included with that style. I imported midi data of the bass line for "Gimme Some Lovin" and used Playable RealTrack Feature to play the accurate bass line for the song using the sound of the RealTrack 2591 from the Eleven modern pop rock style.
I also used that midi data using sounds from the Timbres of Heaven. "Timbres of Heaven is a General MIDI (GM) and General Standard (GS) SoundFont that enhances the quality of MIDI playback by providing high-quality instrument samples." (ChatGPT) ; I tested with the Coyote default BIAB synth, and a Bass Hi-Q instrument also.
There are a lot of options if you import midi data to play the bass riff from "Gimme Some Lovin"
