I think that Dsus4 works with this setting, but D7sus4 still shows D7sus even though the Display setting seems to contradict that.

I meant that the notation showed the notes of the D7sus4, not the chord name. After rereading my message I can see where it was confusing. I apologize for that.

Ok. But I’m not aware of any other sus chords besides 7, 9, and 13. Maybe there’s some more music theory I don’t know?
I'm not particularly advanced in my music theory so I can't really comment there, however going from our official chord list there are quite a few suspended 4 chords:
