A while back I saw a video on "The World's Most Dangerous Bridges"...#1 was the Pamban railway bridge, a 100-year old rickety wooden span across a very wide bay in India. It's been replaced with something more modern, but it sounded like a very scary train ride. That gave me the idea of this, and--who doesn't want to write a "train" song!

Fast Train (from Ceylon)

Ceylon, goodbye!
Next stop, Chennai!
This train can fly! We're going home!

First time to ride;
Sweet blur outside;
Me and my bride, We're going home!

On the bridge we cross the Pambam;
A shaky crawl get to Mandapam;
Palk Strait's fierce below, so take it slow--
And now, just a few meters more..
