Ahh, the MIT Tech Review . . . one of my favorite info sources, thanks for sharing. This is an incredibly fast moving technology with important developments happening almost daily. And if the West doesn't win this race we will pay a high price. Problem is, I'm not sure if anyone actually knows where the "finish line" is, there probably is none, the line just keeps moving ever forward. "According to a white paper released last year by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a state-affiliated research institute, the number of AI large language models worldwide has reached 1,328, with 36% originating in China. This positions China as the second-largest contributor to AI, behind the United States. "It appears our answer to this competition is Stargate LLC .
