When my DAW came to an end I went with Reaper. I have 2 or 3 others but Reaper is the one I used the most.

Personally, I don't think it's going to matter much in the future. This is my prediction.

The future of all DAWS - First you'll pull up your AI to write the lyrics and music for you, then hit your AI button to arrange it all for you, next you'll add your preferred AI vocal(s) to sing for you, then you'll hit the AI mix and master buttons so that's done for you, after that you'll of course hit your AI button to choose your AI generated artwork with your name prominently displayed. And finally you'll press the AI button that quickly and easily uploads it to all the relevant places you want it posted/released. There will also be AI generated video available too and AI will upload that for you as well. You'll make sure your AI DAW subscription fees are up to date along with any extra charges you incur and then you'll call it done in an hour (or less). Take a break - who knows maybe get out and go play a few games of pickleball. Or maybe you'll decide you want to AI a whole album a day. Or AI a song an hour. Your full featured AI DAW will do everything for you. smile
