Dewey Thanks, Dewey. I'm not even sure what genre it is --was never good at that. I will, Dewey. I really have no idea what this song is actually about, and neither will you. I have an idea, I see a movie: this song is played in a saloon, all the guys are drinking, and then there's a brawl while the pianist is still playing in the middle of it. Yeah, that's what the song is about, regardless of the lyrics. No idea why there's a sax, though.  Thanks, Brain. Good story. You should write a sequel. The sax-shooter could be shot down in a duel with the honky tonk piano player, or a traveling trumpet player. Storied country blues with a humorous twist...the Marty M.O.

As I wrote on the YT post I really feel that this song has greater potential; IE: it's excellent as it is, but the chord structure would suit a faster tempo. Thanks for the advice, Chay. I wouldn't be able to sing that fast. Still, you have the talent to draw out that potential.
