Hi Wao, Izzy, Tano, Marty and Floyd, Thanks for the attention for the song and the nice words telling it to me. I'm very pleased with them. Really good song, Hans, and so nicely balanced and produced. Great guitar solo, too. Hello Wao, a nice compliment from you! The balance was a little challenge, but now I know I did it well. Thanks! Your beautiful lady may have made you lost for words but the words you have chosen for the song are perfect. It is a lovely song which I enjoyed.
I always listen closely to your mixes and try to analyse what you have done. The double tracking of your vocals is effective as well as your instrument placement which creates width. I may have said this before that you would be a very good audio engineer for any young aspiring musicians in your part of the world.
Looking forward to hearing all your gems in 2025. Hi Izzy, always when beautiful ladies are involved I have to search for (clever) words... And now you told me I do that well! About my mixes, sometimes it's a bit of luck, but I take the stereo field very serious and how the fx (like reverb and delay) work out on tracks, especially vocal tracks. Mostly I sing all the vocals myself, including the BG tracks. Sometimes I use Vocalign to line out tall those vocals, but not always. And to tell you a secret; I don't really like mixing and mastering. I want to make songs, not be bothered by millions of buttons and plugins. But I found out I have to learn all this, because they improved by this. If you listen to older songs from me, you hear what I mean. But thanks a lot of all you wrote! Totally enjoyed this! Esp liked how your bkgd voice sometimes had a slight variation from the lead. Bridge was very creative and gave a nice rhythmic break from the driving feel of the track. And incidental use of the vibes/xylo as well as fiddle kept the ears “in the mix”. Congrats on retaining your youthful energy well into your “senior years”! Hi Tano, thanks for what you wrote! Yes, I sing all the vocal tracks seperately and mostly I vary them (hights, pronouncation etc). That's what you hear. The bridge was not planned, but when listening to the concept, I thought I miss something. Then I solo'd the piano and there was my bridge! I was afraid time would spoil my vocals, but not yet. Oh, they were lowered, but I have to add; of course. "I not only can't find my words but I also act strange" <-- welcome to the new old age. You KNOW i love this one, Hans. You sound so smooth as you search for your groove. Glad so many others are hearing the only Beatle who was married when they first appeared on Ed Sullivan in your singing. Ik ben blij dat zoveel anderen in jouw zang de enige Beatle horen die getrouwd was toen ze voor het eerst bij Ed Sullivan verschenen. Love listening in Dutch, but the only words I understand are Beatle and Ed Celllophane Hi Marty, glad you discovered that translation tool from Google! Now I can read in my own language what I don't understand when talking or chatting to you ;-)) My wife repeatetly said she doesn't hear any Beatle when I sing. I threatened her with reason (Bud and Marty say...), a divorse (you have bad ears, I go!) or whatever, but she persists. Can't find words for that! Yes 3: She's right... Very pleasant pop song. I can easily relate to the message, too many times I haven't find words, even if I've prepared... the lyrics handle the subject with a smiling touch and the outro is the icing on your birthday cake, congratulation for reaching another BIG milestone  The arrangement is once again interesting, from the nice acoustic intro to the vibes and oohs there is lovely nostalgic feel. The bridge gives time to breathe. And then some electric candy in the solo that fits surprisingly well. Catchy melody and rhythm. Great vocals and great work with the backing vocals. Your voice sounds still like a 30 year old youngster, but with a lot of life experience Janne

Hi Scott, TuneMonger, Noel, Ray and Mario, Well, you made my days with your comment on this song where finding words is a big issue. I'm not even sure if I can find the right words to thank you, but if not, always keep in mind I'really like what you wrote. I don't see this as dementia, just the brain freeze when one is around a lovely woman.
I like the build into the chorus. It creates the right amount of excitement to match the lyrics.
Happy Belated Birthday. I'm only in my 60s, but I'm sure my 70s will arrive sooner than I would expect them to. Hi Scott, so you are the youngster here... When I became 60, I was still working as an adisor, but the I felt I am no longer part of the workers there. I was one of the oldest. A strange feeling... What is your experience with that now? And yes, 70 is already looking at you! I hoped aging wouldn't affect my vocals too much. I was afraid of that. But until now it is bearable. Some still call me John in this forum ;-)) In the chorusses I did all the singing by myself. No fx (yet), only reverb and a bit of delay. And thanks for your congratulations. It's been 14 days now, it doesn't feel that bad yet. Good song, Hans, and the vocal is terrific, too.

J&B Hi Bud and Janice, yes I am the one in the middle... Now that I have your attention, I want to tell you that I'm really sorry that I realized your birthday too late. I still had to process mine... And Marty told me first something in my vocals reminded him of John L. Then I knew I had to keep that in the song, because of you! But my wife, family and myself, never discovered a John vibe in my vocals... We are too critical, I fear. Thanks for your smile for the video. I used AI in Canva to give me singing and smiling daisies. Took me hours and had to reject a lot of them. AI was so stupid here... But the woman did good, even that wink! Till our next songs, Hans
