As you can see if I extend the Hold you will see the shots in the source file also.
You can also start the Hold earlier or later, but only in the DAW you can change it to a quick strum or Slow strum by changing the playback rate of the item.

It would be handy to have a setting in the Alt+F5 dialog (“Extend hold time by ... ticks”) that allows you to configure a hold time that survives chord and song changes.
