Yes, I think it is more Americana since the style name is 'Roanoke Mountain Americana'. Adding a banjo and calling it bluegrass didn't fool anyone, apparently. LOL
Very folkie bluegrass with superb vocals and excellent lyrics. The instrumentation styles are well chosen, but I found the fiddle distracted from the vocals, so if I'd arranged it I'd have only had it playing as an instrumental break and exactly as you have it also at the end. An ace song, nonetheless.
Thank you for pointing the fiddle mix out to me, WaoBand and others! It bothered me so much after reading your comment that I was up early this morning mixing the fiddle down; however, I felt it important to keep it in the same spaces - just softer now. The other item was eliminating the pans and just having all tracks right up the center. Great suggestion and I think the softness of the fiddle in this version is much better.
