It's sweet that you thought to do a tribute to IZ but your arrangement and production are a million miles from the essence of his recording of the song.
A vaguely reggae uke strum and a clear, sweet, high vocal are a simple, yet powerful re-imagining of the old song.
I know it would be crass to copy his version and even worse to do it with syrup n strings.
Your BIAB skills & mix are good.
I would suggest stripping back the mix and find what is essential.
