< Another super newbie question here. I have software (EZDrummer 3) that creates excellent MIDI drum tracks. Can the created MIDI drum track be imported into BIAB and then the individual MIDI drum sounds be assigned to RealDrum sounds, thus turning a MIDI drum track into an equivalent RealDrums track? >

It appears you have at least version 2024 of BIAB. So, if that's correct, then yes it's possible to have the imported midi track converted into an equivalent RealDrum Track.

BIAB has the Playable RealDrums feature, similar to Playable RealTracks, a user can manually input midi data, generate midi data or import midi data and using either the Piano Roll or Notation edit the data and also assign a RealDrum or RealTrack to play the data. The midi data can be integrated into the current RealDrum or RealTrack so for instance, if you have RealDrums you like but need a specific drum roll or hit, etc, then you can select the region or regions you want the riff to play and manually input the riff or import it and BIAB will play those notes instead of the RealDrums for the riff with BIAB sampled drums.
