“You'll dream about her bear, Babu.”  Cool “connect your own dots” tune. Your vocal sets the mood perfectly. Nice performances by you vocally and instrument wise. Your keyboard on the bridge is cool - sounds like vibes. The sax solo sounds great. Good ole moody blues wrapped in an excellent mix. Enjoyed it! J&B Haha. I like that "connect your own dots" monker. Thanks, J&B!! I auditioned a few sounds on the Donner and those vibes gave it the right feel for her mixing potions. Moody Blues? Hmm. That's a huge compliment. Those guys are way above my pay grade. Marty, you are right on—no idea at all what this is about!! I really like that approach of “free” lyric writing—I get too hung up by making the story “make sense”—I think can hamper the creativity. As everyone else said, very solid composition, production, delivery—enjoyed it all!! Thanks, Tom. If you knew Bailey, it would've made more sense.  Masterful rhyming in this choice nugget, I enjoyed it through and through. I particularly like the piano you added, I didn't know you played piano, but I should've figured. Great outing, Marty! Thanks, Bob. That rhyming comment is special coming from a student of The Bard. Yeah, I used to play piano. Now if I add one into the mix, I do it in 2 tracks --one left hand, one right. Good stuff Marty, man, you are a songwriting machine! I want to be just like you when I grow up  HAHA. You paraphrased one of the best Lennon quotes. When they landed in NY he was asked about his son Julian. He said something like, "He's five and I want to grow up to be just like him." His was funnier because Julian was younger than John. You are a young buck, Dave. That song-writing-machine moniker belongs to Bob Dean, but you can see why I don't bug you for every one of these, although we all know that any song you're in is far better because of it.
