I just tried it again with a new blank song that used the old default ZZJAZZ.STY (Jazz Swing Style) so only midi was populated in the drum track. I then chose the style _JWLZ_BG.STY (Medium Jazz Waltz w/ Guitar) and the mixer was automatically populated with the following:

I tried this without doing a reset to factory settings and it worked fine. BiaB 2025 Ultra.
