If you had an audio file that was not recorded to a click track, but had natural sounding small fluctuations in tempo, what software would you use to quantise it so the tempo was consistent?
The reason I ask is that I sometimes need to use an audio file in my notation program so I can write a big band or orchestra arrangement of it, without having to fool around with multiple tempo changes to line everything up.
This is basically the opposite of creating a tempo map for a song, because I want to force the song to a single tempo.
What software is out there that could do this? Bonus points if it supports non-integer tempos (like 124.6).

Studio One Pro 7 will do exactly what you want: A-Create a tempo map of your audio track - I'm sure you know how to do that, if not just let me know B-Using the straight line tool draw a tempo straight line 1-In the audio track make sure you have tempo timestretch selected 2- in timestretch make sure sound is selected 3-in tempo + - type in your desired non-integer tempo

If you have listened to the latest song I posted in the Showcase, (Breathe in, Breathe out) That song actually had some pretty obvious tempo issues when I tried to drop it into BB to compose a few auxiliary tracks. ACW allowed me to line up the bars and then to apply a consistent tempo throughout the song.
Start around 23 minutes in for the tempo equalization feature.
