This is fabulous. I would be totally intimidated doing RO, but you handled it so well. I've always loved your unique voice. You really don't sound anything like RO here (to my ears) but that doesn't matter. The overall feeling of this tune was outstanding. This is the best thing I've heard on the forum in a while.

I wasn't aiming for the RO voice (I haven't heard anyone who could).
It was the musical and lyrical style I was after.

You know ti's not a Roy Orbison song unless it has "blue" or "dream" in the title,  so this qualifies. The is one of the nicest melodies you've composed. Very Orbison like. I saw Orbison in concert in the 80s and was blown away. I can't get enough of his voice.

Back in the mid sixties my band was on a show with him in Ireland.
Being a small venue we shared the same dressing room He came across as a quiet spoken, friendly man.
One of the humblest stars I ever met.
