I WANT TO LIVE IN PARADISE laugh cool

Have you ever just wished you can escape to a tropical island, and live in Paradise. I used to work in New York City, mass of people, crowded streets, buses, trains ... that's the inspiration for this Song.

I used a Reggie Groove, and wanted it sound loose and live. As if it was being played at night around the fire, on a Jamaican Beach.

I want to live in paradise / take the money and run
Watch the seagulls in the morning tide / And feel the raising sun
I want to play in a Reggie band / Dance the night away
I want to live in paradise / watch the palm trees sway

I want to wake up in paradise / Rum drink in my hand
I want to climb a coconut tree / Walk barefoot in the sand
I want to feel the oceans breeze / Gently rock me to sleep
On a hammock in paradise / find a place that’s free

Don’t want to work in a suit and tie Or commute on a crowed train
Don’t want to shovel snow no mo Or be that guy that complains
I don’t want to work at a desk no more Don’t want to get out of bed
I just want to dream of paradise A place to lay my head

I want to live in paradise where blue water runs deep
I want to swim in the morning tide and sleep in the afternoon heat
I want to eat organically and grow my own food
To live and play in paradise and feel soul renewed

I don’t want to slave for mortgage wage or have to hear the boss
Don’t want to do what they tell me to do or bear a heavy cross
Don’t want to be that guy you see so sad to be alive
Just want to dream of Paradise and live more than survive

I want to live in paradise and live more than survive
