FWIW I have had the utility track freeze on me a number of times. A return to factory settings selecting the most option always solved the problem.
Note by freezing I mean I couldn't delete, change patches, or clear the track. It just played what was on the track and I couldn't do a thing about it until a return to factory settings. I have no idea what this happens.
My boss calls me "the computer".
Nothing to do with intelligence. I go to sleep if left unattended for 15 minutes.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
