Hi Rob,
Is this a Mono or Stereo track? If It's mono, you probably just have to go to Options - Preferences - Audio, and change the Input Channel for Mono Tracks.
Also, you will get more responses if you post questions like this in the RealBand forum, this one is for requesting features for future versions, so most users won't look here.
