2024 User Showcase Awards.... Congratulations to....
You may have won a free Band-in-a-Box 2025 UltraPak ..... check here
In the past year (2024), we had hundreds of new original compositions posted to the User Showcase. Wow! There have now been about 12,000 songs in total posted in the Showcase! Many thanks to all who have contributed.
In 2024 there were 918 compositions posted, and 20400 total posts in the User Showcase forum with 1.65 million views! This is 10% more than the previous year. There were song compositions by over 100 different artists from at least 18 countries, including: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.
We'd like to thank and recognize these amazing contributions that people have made!
So we announce the "Top 40 User Showcase Awards" to the top 40 contributors of 2024 – a free Band-in-a-Box 2025 UltraPAK (including the 49 PAK bonus)
We've reviewed the contributions from Jan 1 to Dec 31 2024, and have based the results on a combination of the following criteria:
- great compositions/arrangements/productions
- use lots of Band-in-a-Box or RealBand (RealTracks or MIDI)
- most contributions
- other contribution to the forum (songwriting tips etc.)
- haven't won before (not an absolute requirement)
- haven't already got a free version from beta testing etc.

If you've already purchased 2025 or have it via some other means (e.g. beta testing), we can either refund your purchase price, or you can designate "someone else" to receive it as a gift (just send that info privately in your email).
If you're a Mac user, you can either get the 2024 UltraPak or request a raincheck for the 2025 Mac UltraPak when it comes out.

Oh wow. Thank you so much, Dr Gannon, and everyone at PG Music. I really appreciate this, more than you may perhaps be able to imagine, and certainly more than my meagre words may be able to express. I'll just say this: this is the best musical software product in the world, I firmly believe. Without it, none of my songs, absolutely none, would have been written. Band-in-a-Box has proved to be not only the catalyst for my songs, for my imagination, but also the vehicle for their accompaniment and arrangement. And what a vehicle ... it sounds as professional, for me at least, as any band one could book in person, and often even better, because the musicians Band-in-a-Box uses are some of the top professionals around, and the software itself (as we British sometimes say) "does exactly what it says on the tin", and more  On top of your professionalism and top-notch product, you also treat your customers with such kindness, as evidenced also by this very award you've offered annually, for at least as long as I've been here. I am humbled to be in the company of such genuinely great musicians, and so honoured to receive this wonderful prize. Thank you again.

Fourteen years ago our music lives changed. Through this amazing project we have made real friends, produced music in genres we never dreamed we would work in and had loads of fun. And all of this includes 271 collaborations with other showcase members. Thank you Dr. Gannon for this product and your great team mates. And a big congrats to all.

Thank you very much.
Before my wife gave me BIAB 2011 I struggled to get my songs to sound finished...I'd been using an old Roland TR505 for drums and had some luck getting folks to drum on my stuff BUT i couldn't factor in different style or timing.
Real Drums in BIAB 2011 freed me of those restrictions.
Eventually I learnt how to use more aspects, more Real Tracks and, whilst providing me with more of what I couldn't play, opened my collaboration world hugely because BIAB users can easily, fruitfully & creatively collaborate just by sharing SGUs. It's an aspect of the program that the likes of Deej, J&B, Al David and many others know and use to everyone's advantage.
Last week I "split" some stereo recordings from 1984 inside BIAB and was able to remix/refresh them. That was an unlooked for, but happily embraced, aspect of BIAB 2025.
I post my songs on several platforms and happily announce to the world that Bandhi Nahbox played on my song. Credit where credit is due - & it certainly is due to all of you.

Peter and team, thank you very much. If I didn't discover BiaB a few years ago I probably would not be playing today. BiaB brings a lot of joy to me plus it has made me learn and try many different genres of music. Your products have made my retirement a living dream and as a major bonus I have met and/or exchanged PM and emails with many new friends from these forums.

You have all done so much for the good of music all around this planet. A very special community of real people sharing the love when most of the world is constantly exposed to the hate. Man, you have all elevated this from the floppy MIDI days to this incredible program of a collective genius, the PGM Genii Group. You have been a big part of my making music for like 30 years, and now it seems the only music I listen to is the folks on this forum. You guys help a lot of famous folks make a living using your product, and I particularly love when music is created for the love of music rather than the hope of money or fame.

The software is like no other. For me, there is no comparable product. This could not happen without the skill, knowledge, and dedication of your staff, under your direction. Also, there is no other online site that can come close to the level of customer service PG Music maintains.
Again, thank you and your staff for this amazing product. You have enriched more lives than you might imagine.

Words cannot express how much I love this product and the great and awesome PG Music family and the great and awesome songwriters forum family!
I truly love all of the music that's created here, and I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt that I listen to more original music on this website than I do anywhere else, hands down. For me, the interaction with all of the people here is key and really creates the magic for me.
At this point as a composer and songwriter I have absolutely no idea what in the world I would do without PG Music's software.
It has taken all of my projects into another galaxy and led to sync licensing placements, and residual income, and the ability to distribute more than 12 albums since I started using the software.
And I have two more and possibly three just in my backlog.

I'm a little late to the celebrations but this is such a nice surprise! I can't wipe the grin off my face. This tool has really relieved a life-long ache, having spent most of my life in frustration of not playing an instrument and having to rely on others to ever see the music in my head realized. Fun to see so many others who contributed to the leaps in my learning curve also being rewarded. I was struck dumb with joy to be on the list. Thank you Mr Gannon and team PG Music. The Forum is my go to place for information, entertainment and inspiration ... and mild envy. Band In A Box has been elevating my musicianship since 1998 and from studio to stage, BIAB has never failed to deliver for me and continues to do so. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
