When we play the generated music in BIAB, but we click MIXER or other content, the music will pause for one second. Have you noticed? I think this is very strange. We are listening, why does it pause? Is this normal? I have never encountered this situation in any other DAW.
I just loaded a song I have here and the playback does not pause when I cycle through the mixer.
I then loaded _Jointly.STY along with the demo song to try and duplicate what you are doing. I went through the same process, clicking on each track, and there was no problem in the playback.
For now, I cannot duplicate your problem.
HOWEVER, the drum tracks are a different story. Here is what I am getting with MultiPicker.
1. When I click in the 1st Drum Track, MultiPicker shows the drum track associated with _Jointly.STY, which would be Soul70sRelaxedEV^
2. When I then click on the 2nd Drum Track, that would be the one with the Tambourine playing, MultiPicker DOES NOT show Tambourine8thsAccentQuarters.
There is an inconsistency here on how MultiPicker acts with RealTracks and RealDrums.
MultiPicker does go to the RealTrack you are picking in the mixer but DOES NOT go the RealDrum you are picking, assuming that there are 2 drum tracks to choose from.
See both attachments. One is for the 1st drum track and the other is for the 2nd drum track.

From the Styles tab, the RealTracks are components of the current style's data base and clicking the RealTracks is simply selecting components of the style so selecting between the RT's doesn't pause to load new data.
Changing to the RealTracks tab, the RealTracks are no longer components of the style data base but are single entities of the RealTracks data base and no longer components of the Style because BIAB is now reading a different data base from the Styles data base.
From the Styles tab, selecting another style will also cause a pause as the new style loads into BIAB.
This happens only when using MME audio drivers. If you switch to WAS (default, recommended whenever possible) or ASIO (recommended only when recording audio or MIDI) this doesn't happen.
