Yes, that was exactly what I meant. You have matched the rhythm but not the tone of the guitar. Can you change guitars on that patch. If not you might try using EQ to cut some of those higher frequencies. A little compression or reverb and/or delay would help. If not select another guitar sound. There are some free good ones.
