This topic has been hashed around before. With BIAB 2025 and the chord sheet, I can easily adjust columns, rows, font size, colors, etc.. But, the vertical space for bar lyrics won’t budge, at least for me. Two different computer geeks have assisted to no avail. One said, “Why can’t you simply click on the tiny lyric bar space and roll it larger (vertically) with the mouse?” Of course, I didn’t know. I’d gladly trade some of the chord symbol size for more lyric space. For live performance, my preference is use of the full chord sheet, not Big Lyrics.
I believe the attached screenshot shows the Lyrics Bar in BIAB 2025 can accommodate more vertical lyric space. (PC Geeks were correct. It's not the mouse)
Use the space bar to the end of the bar before continuing entering lyrics or click Ctrl-Enter to advance the Lyrics Bar vertically.
need a dedicated lyrics track in new bbtrack view....bbtv. (and chord and tempo and marker tracks all updateable by the user...it would slay the market imho...chord view would be obsolete....bbtv would be the creators work center....includeing audio and midi track editing.).

OM, Unfortunately, Seeing a screen full of waveforms is absolutely useless for the thousands of live performers using BIAB - Chord View isn't close to being obsolete - Waveforms can be useful for editing - They're not necessary for performing, practice, composition, recording, arranging, adding harmonies, or nearly any other task beyond editing.

good points...but easily solved for those live performers needing such. in bbtv just double click on chord and lyric tracks to display just those under the bbtv timeline...and keep the current chord view for those that prefer such.
big note...in bbtv the height of both lyric and chord track could be set by the user...ie flexible. eg for people like myself that are vision impaired that just want to see big chords and lyrics for live work.
(in rb charlie tho there is a seperate lyric window from tracks view as you know...i would love to see again chord and lyric and tempo and markers tracks.)
Note to the op...in rb there is a seperate display that can be set up by the user to display big lyrics....see the rb manual....you can also set various options via the options button in rb lyric view eg colour etc etc.
happiness..

Use the space bar to the end of the bar before continuing entering lyrics or click Ctrl-Enter to advance the Lyrics Bar vertically.
Ctrl-Enter is the best way to do it. As well, if you want the lyrics to be bigger you can control font size from Options > Preferences > Display, then select Bar Lyrics layer and click Choose Font.
Making progress. Thanks for the provided explanations. Didn't know about the control/enter feature. That expands the bar lyric space, for sure. However, with intensive lyrics, more than 3 clicks and the lyric space covers-up the chord symbols. I'd still like to know how to make the bar lyric space slightly larger by default----before any words are entered---so that if a given bar has only one, two, or three words, the space (and lyrics) appear more open/larger and more easily viewed for live play. Been with the program from the earliest days and still learning.
