PG Music made those decisions long ago, unfortunately. Deciding that, since GarageBand was now free, there was no point in Real Band for the Mac being chief among them. Making BIAB cross-platform would require a major rewrite of both Mac and Win versions to adopt an audio engine compatible with both. I don't see that happening anytime soon. Perhaps when ARM based PCs dominate Windows, PG M may see cross-platform as a marketing opportunity but I don't see any advantage to doing that now.

I do hope that BIAB 2025 is AS Native, however. Much of the current version no longer plays well with other apps, not the case when I was running everything on my Intel iMac Pro.
