This turned out really nice. Fun to see the band members. Piggy was always my favorite of the LotF boys, cool to see a cameo. An excellent opportunity to listen to this excellent tune again, too.

The pleasent sound of your song reminded me from my favourite psychedelic bands of the end of the 60s, like The Doors, Electric Prunes, Blues Magoos etc. I 9just saw a TV documentary on the Nazis of USA in the 1930s. I'm afraid the history will repeat it self. Specially here in Finland with the Russia as our neighbour. So every song to wake us is in need. Thanks for your contribution.
Good song, progression, lyrics. Vox were a bit soft for the feel of the song IMHO, but were good otherwise. Video was a treat. Good work on all fronts.

Thanks D.C., I suspect a lot of folk relate to/feel for Piggy. He wasn't portrayed particularly sympathetically in the movie but the suffering was obvious and the reasons even more so.

Yeah man this is really cool. Really brought back all the memories in sixth grade of reading the Lord of the Flies. Love that book. Love this song! Yeah totally makes me think of all the greatest bands of the sixties and the psychedelic era. Tons of fun man!
Thank you David, I didn't read it until the 1st year of high school 12/13 years of age 55 odd years ago & it still has its claws in me.

Punk-ska-prog-rock I already liked the song too, and you've now made a simple but cool video that I really enjoyed. The mix sounds a bit musty, could have a bit more treble.
Oh, I have been impatiently waiting to hear this --or rather see this, Ray. GOtr the YT notice a few days ago, but needed to hear it on this syytem. Great job everyone!!!! Hats off to Bandhi, but loud applasue for Terry, Allison and Steve. And a big curtain call for for the maestro, whom we here know as RayC, although he doesn't appear to be very racey.
Enjoy whatever happens! marty

Thanks Tunemonger, Terry always sings that way...his position is that the narrative & arrangement create the juice and passion while he tells the story passively.

Thank you sir, this sounded bright on my monitors...I do have a few freq spots that seem to hype treble in my moderate hearing loss...for example sibilant sounds really annoy me. That's one of the reason I use an M.E. - he lets me know if something needs addressing.

Thanks for the generous assessment Marty. I was lucky that I could tap into some very cool musicians and that they weren't sent packing by the subject matter.

Cool 60's sounds all around! I didn't catch the audio post but I really dig the bass part the way it drives the song ! Very nice job with the little breakdown about 2/3 of the way through! Very effective! Once again, you've created some high-quality music!
Audio post: This line throughout really says it so well: “The beast radiates darkness” and the different lines following it in each chorus are excellent.
“Today’s another train wreck” is exactly how we feel each morning that we see the news.
We both read Lord of the flies in high school also and the disturbing effect remains.
Terry’s smooth vocal presents the dark and moody feeling perfectly
Love the BiaB guys ... those drums are powerful.
Alison’s cello and Steve’s baritone and your bass and guitar all sound great in tone and chops. And they each have a comfortable niche on the soundstage.
Video post: Terry is a great front man, acting out the lyric perfectly and his smooth vocals remind us of how easily people have been seduced to follow the dark leaders. The scenes of the children with their weapons is chilling - all of the scenes are very effective in delivering the narrative.
The complete production - both video and audio - is deeply thought provoking and very well done.
