Hey chulaivet, every time I see the word "pensive" I have to look it up, It is you sir, that is pensive  Hey BT.... Ha....good catch. Admittedly, the large majority of my song writing drivel has subject matter that is pensive in nature. My next one (shortly) strays from pensivity (oh jeez....did I day that) into the lighthearted with some levity category. I have difficulty writing those types of songs. On a different note: after 7 decades, I think I've finally memorized how to spell rhythm correctly! Anyway, you're welcome amigo. Back to topic.

Brilliant! The production encourages the listener immerse himself into the musical story. Excellent work on the instruments you played. The backstory was helpful and I've added that book to my reading list.

Steve...a very moving piece of music and tribute to the valiant innocent of the holocaust...may we never forget...love the cello and the emotional angst it creates with those powerful sound tracks at the beginning...the movement is thought provoking the production is very well done...thanks for posting this lovely yet haunting tribute! Thanks so much for the listen. And very well put "to the valiant innocent of the holocaust...may we never forget". And I agree, the cellist on that RT is very talented. I wish I had half his skill.

It is highly important that the dark side of history is not forgotten. I'm quite sure I have read some book by Frankl, but can't recall its title at the moment (it was 30 years ago...). Strong intro that gets straight to the flesh of the subject. The cello and the vocal parts sound majestic. Then the haunting synth and the bass... a story well developed and told. Very creative work.
