Hi Ron, WaoBand, Tano, Mario and Vicarn,

Thanks very much for listening and replying on this political song.
I have always been politically involved. From the past, and when I entered politics myself, and still afterwards, as you have noticed.
I also know it's a sensitive subject. It can even causes wars ;-)

But the setup of the song itself is a bit of layback; I'm driving a car, feeling lonely and musing about the situation in the world.
And I got angry at those who contribute to this. That was the atmosphere I tried to achieve in this song.

So it's a song about people in the United States today, but also about Germany (lately) and my country last year, whose voices are causing democracy to slide backwards. Because that worries me.

Hi Ron, you're always quick in responding to my songs, and so nicely too. Thank you for that. Yes, a lot of the band is made with BiaB, only the vocals are mine. I forgot to mention that in the introduction of this song.
You say 'we seem to be destined to live in interesting times', I say 'convicted'. These are very nasty times...

Hello Tano, I'm pleased you liked the song and sound. When I was searching for solo-sounds I heard this one and was sold. I had to do a lot of rendering to get it as it is, but the sound of it was really meant for this song.

Hahaha, Mario. you're a funny guy, talking about the lyrics. But as you can read in my intro in this post, I am more dissapointed in the voters in a lot of countries causing democracy and 'we, the people' having Bad Luck (my other song ;-)).
But thanks a lot for your comment!

Well done.

Hi Vic, you say it very well! It is a mad world and becoming dangerous too soon. Thanks for your compliments!

In spite of the message in the song, I hope you all have a nice time, or at least, some inspiration for new songs,
Hans
