Original tune - I play: ac/el guitars, rhodes/wurly/bass/swells on the keys,
BB Style: 'Who Ambient Erhu Groove' with my chords etc.

Carl, I just finished listening to Janne's track with Chinese instruments, and then I notice your track featuring erhu. Erhu is my favorite Chinese instrument. I enjoyed this, but I think it wouldn't hurt to raise the erhu's volume quite a bit. Otherwise, a very nice piece, and good playing on your part.

Bob - the Erhu is such an expressive instrument, my ears are always drawn to it whenever I hear it!
My intention on this track was to include it for fills only, rather than the Erhu being very prominent in
the mix - I included it to create a mood, a calm setting etc.
I'll certainly keep your comments in mind next time I play the track -
thanks a lot for taking a listen and for your comments!

Very pleasent song with enjoyable guitar playing. Specially as an old folk musician I liked the natural instruments, not so much synthetic ones- tho I got the idea of Chinese with these colourings. Nice change in the melodic line.

Well, it’s not a “blues”! Much more intriguing and wonderful listening. It would be very interesting to see your chart—loved the chord movement, esp the diminished phrase. And what did you use for the rhythm track—did it come from BIAB? Loved it.

I've missed you, Carl. Last time I was here, I didn't see anything from you. You set such great moods. I had to get up and sway.

Tom - that's why I used the phrase 'bluesy' rather than blues,
the basic rhythm track was the one that came with the BB style, I
added subtle periods of percussion from Session Audio "Shimmer,
Shake, Strike 2"! Here's the chord sheet I wrote for this tune -
chuffed you liked it, thanks a lot for taking a listen and for your nice comments,

Cheers from the UK,

Carl

Hi, Carl. Miss me? I missed you, but I'm not gonna miss this one. Soothing. Next time I have medical issues, I'm taking you with me. Yours is just what I needed --well, that and headphones to drown out the constant interruptions. Man, this one is very different for you, yet there is that Morgenson magic of sound. Loved it!

Enjoy whatever happens!

Bless ya Marty - missed you my friend and really hoping you're recovering well??
(Send me a PM if you wanna talk about it - I'm a retired Osteopath & ex surgery room technician).
If this gave you the 'calm' you needed during your health struggles, then it made my
day - and don't say 'next time' or it'll happen!
Super pleased it sounded ok in your ears!
BIG thanks Marty - and keep well,

Best wishes,

Carl

Hi Beth - nice to hear you, haven't seen anything from you either for a while?
I've been popping tunes on here fairly regularly, but not weekly as I did for a while!
Very glad you have enjoyed my 'moods' - hope your ears approved of this one too?

Hope all well with you there in France?

Best wishes,

Carl

Gosh, Carl! I didn't express myself very well. I meant, in reference to this very tune that you set great moods and that it got me swaying. So yes, I approve...for what that's worth.

That's really worth a lot Beth - very many thanks!!!
Sunny and spring-like here today, about 14 degrees -
just been for a lovely walk down by the river in the vale here,
nothing better on a day like this!
(except I fell over on the mud, all ok but muddy coat & trousers).

It's been really lovely here too. Sorry to hear about your tumble. That's never much fun. I took one too about a week ago. Also thankfully okay, but sore! We're quite lucky!

We could prop each other up Beth - stop all this falling over?
