Take some Hi, this is a take-off from Dave Brubeck's "Take five" I hope you all like it. Mike, very nice take on a Brubeck theme. Like the development of the theme into a long-ish piece while keeping it interesting. Not crazy about the bass patch but it didn't detract from my enjoyment of this fun piece.

Love the 5/4, the vibes and the entire band.
Around 55 years ago Bud went to the Atlanta Pop Festival that featured Joplin, Hendrix and the other big acts of the time.
And what happened? Well, Brubeck came out on stage apologizing for a mistake in the gig booking. The crowd loved them!

Mike, you are a master of blending various RTs and getting a fantastic result.
I love 5/4 and you did an outstanding job on this one.
Love that bass line and those vibes!
Everything sounds great.
PS - I'll bet you can play 5/4 on your drums can't you. I say that because you have that 5/4 groove down pat.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

I appreciate it anytime someone here tries something different, and 5/4 is definitely different. I didn't know equal and swing soloists would work on a 5/4 groove, but I guess they did. Stretching the envelope, good job.
