I always encourage folks to buy as far up the ladder as you can afford. If you are serious about making music, you won't regret buying a higher version.

Look at the packages on the website and see what they include for styles and real tracks and the real drum tracks. Buy what you need.

If you buy one of the lower versions and within the return period realize you should have gotten a higher version, a simple phone call to sales will get you the upgrade for the cost difference. That happened to me many years ago when I was first getting started. I bought the lower cost version and realized it didn't include the tracks I wanted. Three minutes later on the phone call to sales, I had the version I needed for a few dollars more.
