Smooth FeelingsI couldn't think of a title for this one so I just went with Smooth Feelings and I hope this song gives you those feelings. BiaB style - Circle Ambient Lap Steel Tempo - 65 BPM Drums - the audio track from the style. The other style tracks were converted to MIDI tracks. Bass - Kontakt - Amadeus - basses Piano - Lounge Lizard - Tine Based - 20 BFly2 Strings - EastWest - Symphonic Choirs - Full Choir Utility - Kontakt - Bronze Pad - Factory - 13 Far Side of the Moon I am playing my lead guitar and via my breath and keyboard controller the Swam jazz trumpet. As always all comments are welcomed.

I get that feeling of gliding like a gull over the coast. The unassuming drumbeat fits very well into the mood. The guitar is welcomed in.

Hi Mario,
You are always good in creating these SMOOTH melodies! But all the time different instruments (and sometimes vocals). That's what I like about you. And what I like in this song is that trumpet. You call it a Swam Jazz trumpet, I read swamp, but couldn't imagine what kind of trumpet that is. Whatever, a very smooth song it is!

Hans Thanx Hans. The Swam trumpet has a number of different sounding trumpets. It is the same with the other Swam instruments I have, i.e. different variations of the main instrument.

You're a real Swami with that Swam, Mario! Love its lush sound. Volume was quite low, had to turn up but no problem. Guitar coming in now, good also. Now both together. Track was good, too!

Good idea using your middle name as the title, Mario. Man, I don't know how you make such good pieces so well and so different and so fast. I can only imagine all the magic that swims through your brain. It'd be interesting to get a video of that. hehe Love how you blend guitar and trumpet, giving them each their own space and singing the same song so to speak.

Your do so well with your Swam instruments as you have the feel for them. Really enjoyed the gentle guitar solo, too, plus the percussion was perfect for the piece.

Thanx so much. The volume is an interesting issue. I always set my wavs at -3dB. I wonder why it was so low on your system?

I have been using MIDI since the mid 1980s, thus I am quite familiar with it. BiaB makes it easy to come up with ideas and chord progressions and using the MIDI side of BiaB makes it easy for me to modify and/or add to the BiaB tracks. I am not knocking anyone's workflow but for me I like the versatility MIDI offers over RTs and RDs, however I have been known to use RT and RD tracks in my songs.

Mario,
As the title suggests, this is a very smooth ambient tune. The guitar solo and trumpet solo fit perfectly with the atmosphere. BiaB style - Circle Ambient Lap Steel even displays the sheet music for each instrument in MIDI notation. It's also great that you use MIDI instead of audio tracks. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Really enjoyed the track Mario. I'm a real sucker for that groove. Couldn't agree more about the midi preference and I'd love to see BiaB develop that side of the street more. Mick
