This is another repost from six years ago. I was new to the forum at the time, so I think most folks haven't heard this one. This is vintage soul. I used the Soul 60s RTs, 1570 to 1578, and the sax was RT 1956. The horns were done by a guy named Tommy Leb. I did a version with BIAB horns and it's surprisingly good, but Tommy's were perfect. The vocals were by a fiverr guy, Stephane Comeau, who has sung many times for me and is really good.

Lyrics:

I love my baby like a good man should, she gives me everything that I need
Sometimes she gives me a little too much to handle, she's hard to read now
Does she love me or some other guy?
The things that she does right in front of my eyes!
I gotta step back, give my feelings some play
Then I tell her with affection that I mean what I say

Now Baby you know that you're mine
And I know you think that you're fine
That every guy who sees you, would love to try and please you
Make you feel so very fi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yine
Have your fun but know, too
There is nothing that's better than me and you oh
I know that I'm yours, I'm never unsure
And baby you know that you're mine

Our love's a good one, it's a beautiful thing
I don't want to make out like it's not
Maybe my baby needs to be reassured
What she had when we met, she's still got
Whatever makes her a little risque
That very same thing thrills me every day!
I've come to accept it, it's just her own style,
And that I'll be telling her every once in a while
