Ahhh yes, I opened the MP3 file from my desktop. I see, then it is the default behavior to save out the stems like this? Yes, the stems will be saved to the same location as the source. If the source is the Desktop, then, well, that's where the results will go. Just move the results to somewhere you want, or better still, move the source to where you want everything to wind up. There is no 'settable destination' as far as I know.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
