Firstly, welcome to the neighborhood. Something similar came up recently, and Noel96 pointed out that the Melody & Soloist are handled separately to other tracks. This might be related. See this post.It's not directly related but that post is making me think it's indirectly related (separate handling of Melodist and Soloist tracks). I've been using BIAB since 2000 and have always input melody and solo notation by hand, and I'm 'pretty sure' I have been able to insert bars and it has the effect of creating the insert on all tracks i.e. it nudges melody and soloist over the number of inserted bars as well. I've noticed recently when getting back into BIAB again that this has popped up. If Melodist and Soloist are handled separately, it would seem I have to use the Edit > Nudge option - which I've never had to use before. I am currently on Band-in-a-Box® for Windows Version 2024 (1113) 64 bit.
