However this is only 1/2 of equation. You should be able to route things too. Like Midi plugin to a sound producing VSTi for example. Chain. Agreed, this would be the most ideal, but that might have to be version 2. As background, I suggested this to one of the very senior developers at PG Music quite a few years ago, and the reply was that it was a good idea, but they weren't sure how to achieve it.
