The opening a cappella verse was an awesome arranging choice. The most powerful songs I've ever heard are those that launch straight into the song without any explanation or introduction, and they usually begin a cappella. Only the very, very best singers seem to have the confidence to do that. There is no doubt about it at all, Janice is in the upper-echelon of the talent hierarchy.
