LB...
i use 2 pc's ...one for music creation and another cheapy for the net.
i will NEVER use a music production pc for the net as such net tasks can interrupt the production process. (see my tips in pg tips forum to save me typing 10 pages of tips please.)
and i dont want to get into a debate on this with other users who might have other views. in summary ive seen too many issues over the years with pc's
that are running loads of apps like the net that are always active while music creation tasks are occurring...thus leading to stutters and glitches.
LB...if your music pc has never been optimised for music activities see my tips on such in pg tips forum....and particularly first step RUN LATENCY MON which will assess whether a pc is suitable for music activities.
(report back what LMon says...all in green ? etc etc.)
the biggest problem ive seen over the years resolving peoples pc probs re music is useing a pc not properly optimised for music activities and thats running loads of apps other than music apps.
have you tried other daws ?? eg bandlab ? or pg;'s own realband thats included with bb ?? do you get midi problems in those ?
just an idea.
PS...here is the review of your i3 processor.

its single thread score is under what i would recommend.
hth....and happiness.

You're right, Old Muso: that's why I have a computer dedicated to music, a Dell XPS 18 (1820) with an i7 processor and a desktop computer, an HP 22 c0020nf with an i3 processor.

But, as I told Keith, if I'm currently using my HP to test Band in a Box 2025, it's because my Dell is at a professional to upgrade its RAM from 8 to 12 GB (maybe 16 GB, if it doesn't heat up too much) and install a faster SSD.

That being said, it's on my Dell with the i7 processor that I started running and discovered the stuttering problem of Band in a Box 2025. So it's not because of the i3 that Band in a box doesn't work properly.

I will know in a few days if the improvement of the specifications of my Dell makes disappear the problem that I am currently having with Band in box 2025.

If it works, it will be very good, but I will then suggest to PG Music to substantially modify their system requirements page :-) !

If it does not work, I will continue to look for the problem in the 2025 version of Band in a Box.

Because for 10 years, Band in a Box 2010, 2015 and 2020 have run without problem on my Dell, and today it is only Band in a Box 2025 that does not run correctly on this computer.

And I do not really want to drastically change my installation and/or my work habits just for a new version of software ...
