I watch the tutorial videos and see how fast the video creator's machine is handling the software and processing the data, and I see it do it's thing almost instantly. In many cases that might simply be the "magic of cinema" - I can't speak for every single video, but at least for the ones I've made I often speed up some things, since watching a progress bar or waiting for something to happen doesn't exactly make for a particularly entertaining tutorial video.
