Andrew Dee Apprentice Joined: Mar 2025 Posts: 233 Adelaide, Sth Aust.	I hope key changes are making a comeback - as I hope borrowed chords are. While a good song all in the diatonic can be delightful, there is nothing as surprisingly beautiful as a well crafted key change or insertion of a borrowed chord. Listen to this wonderful song from late 70s (I think) Voyager - Halfway Hotel - or this song from Australian band Thirsty Merc - My completeness: Wonderful stuff! Without multi-key progressions / borrowed chords, these songs wouldn't exist. It's part of the magic that is music!
