Lonelyt Is The Night

Di just got home from almost three weeks in the hospital, so I've not had much time for music creation and novel writing. I didn't have a chance to reply to the last 2 or 3 comments on my previous song before it slipped off of page 1. I really don't want to claw it back to the front page as there is so much great music on page1 that deserves more listens and comments. But please know I have read them and appreciate the nice comments.

This is another quick afternoon throw-together - nothing real special, but it's all I have right now.

Love it Alan - very beautiful ‘calma bossa’ mood, and the title combined
with Di being away in hospital this piece sounds like a reflection
of you being without her for 3 weeks, so glad to hear she’s back home
again and hopefully recovering really well!!!!
A quick afternoon throw-together - well it’s amazing what can be done
in BB when you know how, and you certainly have the skills!!
Thanks for posting - wishing you both well,

Carl

Alan, know I've said versions of this many times, but you coax the BEST performances out of BiaB instrumentalists, and they always sound STUNNINGLY present. And this is no exception. Lovely acoustic journey here, especially enjoyed the guitar interplay. Fab arrangement and mix. FUN listen, too! Best to you and Di.

3 WEEKS!! Give Di a big hug for us, Alan. I agree with ya about Bumping to the Top. Man, this is such a fine performance. WHat a cool feel and the mix is just perfect. A quick-afternoon throw together? Yeah, man, nobody can do an afternoon like you, Alan.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Alan, I always know I’m in for a treat when I see your name pop up. This is so very relaxing and provides a great opportunity to slow down and rest from whatever your troubles may be. You are a master of these instrumentals and of what can be achieved from this software. Bravo!

Hi, Alan.

It's a treat to hear anything from you!

It's not easy to get a cohesive instrumental from BiaB, but you've done a stellar job here.

Nicely done as per usual, Alan!

I agree with other comments here, no one is better than you at getting great performances from BIAB.

Best to you and Di, hope she is doing a little better now.

Alan, if this is an example of "This is another quick afternoon throw-together" I would really love to hear what you could do with a lot more time! However I know that you have much more important things to deal with right now.
Super song and mix
Loved it

Hi, Marty.

Thanks so much. The $20.00 check is in the mail!

Yeah, once a song falls off the front page, I always hesitate to claw it back, with rare exceptions.

Well, I enjoy my afternoons when I have some time for music.

Sure do appreciate all those nice comments!

Best to you, my friend.
