Super Mario
Wow, what a review! ZZ Top, Zappa, and Grappelli in one sentence? That’s got to be the most flattering musical DNA test result I could hope for! I was bracing for ‘sounds like a cat wrestling a lawnmower,’ so this is a much better outcome. Seriously, though—thank you! I truly appreciate it your kind words! 🌷

Good chugging ahead rocker. Spectacular production. I especially like the effects on the vocal. Effective way you mixed things up to keep me wanting more.

"Good chugging ahead"! That's officially the highest praise I've ever received, I'm printing that on a t-shirt. 👕 I appreciate you noticing the vocal effects – I spent longer than I care to admit trying to make myself sound less like myself. Thanks for the review! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go polish my 'Spectacular Production' award... which currently exists only in my imagination. 🎼 😎

Alright, Scott, I have another cosmic reason why I'm so pleased you dropped by. When I'm building a song, I conjure up a mega-star vocalist in my mind, someone to truly nail the vocals... and the voice I kept hearing was... dramatic pause... YOURS! 🎤🎜♫♬.........I know, I know, deeply weird. Maybe I'll just give you co-writing credit for 'Unintentional Vocal Muse'?"
Either that or invest in a really good noise-canceling headset." 🎧

Weird psychobabble aside.
Thanks Scott for taking the time to give it a spin and comment.

btw Why havn't we heard from you since the brilliant Peanut Butter Mixer??

Izzy,
I'm working on another song, but it's not that brilliant. I just don't have much time (I spend 2.5 hours each day in the car driving to and from work), so I work on my song in bits and pieces. Thanks for the vocalist comment, although, I am like you: I try to sound less like myself when I work on producing the song.

Hi, Izzy.

Late to this head-banging party, but this song still rocks!

What do I think? Love it. Inspired, especially the decision to keep the fiddle. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Woohoo! Stoked you dig it Mr David! even if you're fashionably late to the mosh pit.

Head-banging parties are always better with more people. 🤩😜🤑🙄😬😮😁🤠

The fiddle and I thank you! 👍

Didn't get the Spoonful connection, but enjoyed it otherwise. I think you might've done well to use some metal RTs and up the ante. Good rocker!

Hi Bob.
I'm actually pleased that you didn't get the Spoonful connection!
And metal RTs are a great idea... but I might have to rename the song 'Spoonful of Nails'!" 😎
Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.
