OP jcgato98 Enthusiast J Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 31 Deland, FL, USA	While importing a MIDI file with BIAB 2025 Pro got an error message to the effect of "Original file has a 5/16 time signature that is not accepted. Changed to 4/4" That alters the original sound, but BIAB apparently has a work around solution for that. Does anybody know how to convert the original 5/16 to a 4/4 equivalent within BIAB? Band-in-a-Box® for Windows Version 2026 (1220)

Noel96 Veteran Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 20,581 Australia	I've been using BIAB for a long time and I cannot think of how to covert something that has 5-beats per bar into something that has 4-beats per bar. Getting a 5-beat song to align comfortably with BIAB's 4-beat accompaniments would be a challenge. MY SONGS... Audiophile BIAB 2026 audios on Soundcloud

I will play around and try to replicate it to see if I can get to something that sounds anywhere close to the original song. Band-in-a-Box® for Windows Version 2026 (1220)

Odd times are handled MUCH better in RB I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

It imported the MIDI in its original tempo/time signature. Now, I will look into how to save it in a format the BB accepts and try to apply RealTrack styles to it.... rharv Veteran Joined: May 2000 Posts: 22,602 Mi., USA	Or you can just start generating tracks in RB .. probably be better off in RB at this point Select a track, Generate Realdrums Select another and Generate what other Realtracks you want. The odd-time handling in RB will likely generate the other tracks to match better than BiaB as they actually generate in the same odd-time .. BiaB would not. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!
