Just finished listening to Misha's track with a talkbox, and here you've got a banjo and a horn section together. I really like these deep RT explorations. You were right about the ear test: I did indeed have to train my ear to hear the last part. But it was worth it. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me checking in every evening. Great job, Marty! Thanks, Bob. AH, Bela Fleck has played with some great horn sections and symphony orchestras cuz he knew the banjo fits anywhere. Speaking for all of us, we're glad you're here, Bob. An excellent write with lots of depth. Musically 'up there'.
The choice of band members is ideal, and the mix is really well done. Thanks so much, AT. Always happy with your comments. Now Marty... there's corny and there's sweet. This is simply sweet and a really well-composed piece of music, uplifting and fun. Love the opening (as I mentioned on sc) and the banjo is divine. The chorus is heart-expansive and the harmonies so good. I think it is my favorite of yours now. Okay? Okay. Thanks for such a sweet comment, Beth. I love that "heart-expansive" part. Heck, anything you do is okay with me, Beth. But never straighten that halo; there's meaning in the tilt. Great chorus melody, Marty.
That's the hook.
Just a suggestion but you may consider taking some of the instruments volume down or removing one of them in the verses to see if it increases the impact of the chorus.

Vic. Thanks, Vic. That's a great idea you have. You're right, the chorus is what it's all about so they should have a stronger impact. Not a corny, but a lovely positive song that has a very memorable melody and heartwarming lyrics. "When you're down and out and feel there's no where you can turn, turn to me, my friend, your friend" - I certainly turn to this song and your voice, or actually any of your songs, they help me to forget the bad times. The best song on your new album and leaves such a relieved and heavenly feel after hearing it. Excellent vocals and those harmonies are truly sweet. The trombone fits perfectly creating nice Mariachi soundscape, making me feel like I'm witnessing a big colorful parade. You are a true master of songwriting in any genre, thanks to BIAB and your captivating talent, thanks my friend for being here on this forum  Janne Ah, Janne, you are quickly becoming my favorite human --almost reaching the top where my great-grandmother sits. Not just because you listen to my albums (therby putting Finland on my map of listeners), but the songs you have on your YouTube channel say so much of the important things. Man, if ya ever get to this country, you gotta stay here for some time. We could cure the world's ills with a single glass of wine. Imagine what the whole bottle will do.

Great intro with just vocals! I liked your instrumentatuion: adding banjo, horns etc. made the song more interesting. Harmonics in vocals were well done. Only I heard in vocals some wobbling or comb filer like effect. Are you using some kind of real tuner or pitch harmonizer?

Not too corny at all. Very good chorus. I enjoyed the uplifting message, which we need with all the negativity. It seems the instrumentation is different than usual---I like! I like the vocal parts at the end. Cool.

The vocal could be a tiny bit louder...you sounds as if you're in the warm embrace of the band for the choruses.
The counter melody harmony section is very cool. I THINK I'd have panned them a little further away from each other BUT as they are the harmonies combine in a rich sound that is ACE.
Impressive stuff Master Marty.

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums.
