Hi Sneed,

If you know the fundamentals of music, there's something else that might be worth trying. It's possible to manually edit and change the notes of the bass track if it's a midi track. This can be done in "Piano Roll View" or "Notation Mode". Once you change the notes, simply "freeze" the bass track so that the bass stays static when the song is re-generated. (Make sure that you know how to freeze a track before doing all your changes to the bass track. It would be very frustrating to lose your work.) If it was me, I'd modify the bass using notation mode. To do this...
  • Click on the 1/8th note to enter notation mode.
  • Click on th B (next to the "LoopScn" button) to select the bass track notation.
  • Over on the left side of the window, two buttons to the right of the "Print" button, is the button for "Editable Notation Mode".
  • Notes can be deleted and edited in this mode.

I have just had a look at the version 2010.5 pdf manual that came with my BIAB and it seems that Chapter 10 is devoted to working with MIDI (page 276). This might give additional information.

Regards,
Noel
