TBH, it is an older monitor that is “newly” connected to my PC. ...
I probably need to replace it with something new. My PC is about 6-7 years old. It may be the other way around. Perhaps you need to upgrade the monitor. From the information you have provided, it's possible that the monitor is not compatible.
