Tom,

The first iteration reminds of some late 60s soundtracks, not so much - not sure where I'd put that one.

Nice work. isn't it amazing how we can make so many different musical pieces simply by pushing a key or two on the keyboard. Sounds like you pushed all the right keys on this one.

Again, nicely done!

Take care,

Alan

Some really interesting variations in this instrumental. Nicely produced, too.

Some favourite Waoist Adages:
#1: Play on the Way.
#13: Ask not for whom the flower blooms, it blooms for you.
#58: Bring consciousness to it.
#63: On the road to effortlessness, effort must be made.
#92: Be Love Now, the rest will come on its own.

I don't usually listen to much instrumental music, but this is really well done and keeps my interest throughout the entire thing.
It's like one of those movie scores where the main theme appears at different places in different clothes.

Interesting work, you're very creative, and it shows in this piece. Ya can't copyright a riff, so you're good.

25 or 6 to...infinity and beyond...

Man, I rocked to that riff on many a prom gym floor in my powder blue rented tux. Those were the days!

Super creative thematic exploration and arrangement. Super mix, too.

Oh, give me a week to pass the bar and I'll take the case, Tom. (Looked this up and) Robert Lamm would've been thrilled to say he wrote this. Very creative stuff, Tom, and I like how you always return to the theme after filling in some amazing variation. That little Chicago tag you added was just terrific. Brilliant stuff, man.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Ton, this is extremely creative and expertly put together. A combination of Captain Beefheart and Chicago Transit Authority. Maybe a little Spike Jones thrown in for good measure, i.e. not a pun. I believe this is the first time I have heard a song like this on this forum.
Great mix
Excellent song

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

Thanks Marty and Mario...I had been thinking about this for a while>....pick some well-known music that is instantly recognizable in the first few notes--then start playing around with it. I'm glad you liked it!!

That was wildly cool. You surprised me with the Chicago chords, and then you led me into all different interesting directions. This arrangement/composition would make a good marching number.

Clever.
