I want to loop an eight bar section of a 16 bar song

I was just about to post a question on this.
For clarification to the question, it is possible to loop a highlighted section while in chord view and clicking on the loop icon and Play and Loop Highlighted Section.
But this is not possible in Notation view, which would be nice.
Did I get that right? Both question and what's being worked on?

I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.

I was just about to post a question on this.

Thanks. Almost - you're correct when talking about the Mac or Windows version of BIAB, however this particular forum is for the new iOS (iPhone and iPad) version of BIAB which does not have this kind of loop function yet.

I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.
