Let me clarify.
I'm only an ok sight reader and I have a hard time remembering which notes are sharp or flat depending on the key. For instance, it your music is in the key of D all the Fs and Cs are sharp but they are not written as sharps in the notation, you are suppose to just know that. I prefer to have those accidental notes actually written in the staff lines with sharp symbols. Make sense?

Years ago when I was last using BIAB, I printed out some music where I could do this and I'm trying to figure out how I did that. It could be that this is a print option and not a screen option, not sure. And maybe that option got dropped with recent versions.
I did try turning off the Key Signature Every Line option but this seems to be only for space saving and it doesn't change the notation of the accidentals.


I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.
