**Mac 2025**
I'm missing something basic.
I go to Open Song by title and get the Song Picker window and I cannot sort my titles, or any other heading, alphabetically.
Below the song list is a line "Sort is disabled - press Action to enable"
Um, what's Action?? Nothing is labeled such and my entire top menu dropdowns are greyed out.
Please tell me the obvious thing this newbie is missing.

I used BIAB quite a bit in 2008 and after a 16 year break(!) I'm back with version Mac 2024.

Hi Sam,
In the Windows version of the program, "sorting" lists is accomplished by clicking on the head row of the column. I have never used Songpicker, but it seems likely that this might also apply to this component of the program. Now that you have enabled sorting, try clicking once on a column header. A single asterisk may appear to indicate that sorting is alphabetic. If you click again on the header, a double asterisk may appear to indicated that the sorting is reverse alphabetic.

Thanks Noel. It may be different in the PC version.
I have song files with generic file names so I don't know what songs they are unless I go to File>Open Special>Open by Song Title and this will give me a title list of the songs of whatever folder is chosen. The heading in this window is SongPicker, which is why I called it that.
Yes, it should be obvious to click on the header, "Title" but when I do this the whole column highlights but nothing is sorted, and yes I tried right clicking = no response. And there's the message I mentioned about sort being disabled.
Maybe the guys who know what Mac version I'm using will also know this fundamental use case?

The action menu is in the lower right of the Songpicker window: ![[Linked Image - Only viewable when logged in]](https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=30548&filename=action.png) From there, open the Songpicker Options then Enable sorting of song list.

Thanks so much. Thanks bearing with my newbie oversight.
