Voici donc que j'ai une formule 1 désormais, mais je l'a conduit sans permis et sur la neige. ..
Pour tout vous dire, je suis assez quiche avec les technologies sons, je suis un relativement vieux gratteux, autodidacte ( avec un bon niveau je pense, mais mes connaissances en solfège sont nulles ... )
J'en viens donc à mon pb mais je vous donne ma configuration et ma problématique.
J'ouvre BIB via mon ordinateur portable ( Windows 11 )
Jusque là tout va bien, Laurent a eu une patience énorme pour m'aider aux paramètrages.
Je rentre la guitare aussi sur le PC, via un boitier qui s'appelle RIFF ( Bias fx2 ) et le son de BIB et du Riff sortent très bien sur les baffles Présonius.
J'en viens donc à ma problématique.
J'arrive à faire jouer des choses via BIB mais lorsque je veux enregistrer un solo de guitare, impossible, rien ne s'enregistre en appuyant sur le cercle rouge " enregistrement audio "
Je ne veux pas encore embêter Laurent avec ça aussi si vous aviez des pistes sans mauvais jeu de mots pour m'aider à enregistrer ?

So now I have a Formula 1 car, but I've driven it without a license and on snow...
To be honest, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to sound technology. I'm a relatively old guitarist, self-taught (with a good level, I think, but my music theory knowledge is nil...).
So now I come to my problem, but I'll share my configuration and my problem.
I open BIB via my laptop (Windows 11).
So far, so good. Laurent has been extremely patient in helping me with the settings.
I also input the guitar into the PC, via a box called RIFF (Bias fx2), and the sound of BIB and the Riff comes out very well on the Presonius speakers.
So, here's my problem.
I can play things via BIB, but when I want to record a guitar solo, it's impossible; nothing is recorded when I press the red circle "audio recording."
I don't want to bother Laurent with this again. Do you have any tracks, no pun intended, to help me record?

Go to the menu: Options | MIDI/Audio Driver Setup. Click [Audio Settings], and then [Audio Drivers]. What is the Input Driver? You might need to set that to the interface you are using for your guitar...

BIAB est l'abréviation de Band-in-a-Box ; vous verrez aussi souvent BB utilisé, et parfois BiB, même si personnellement je n'aime pas beaucoup celui-là.
Pour répondre à votre question initiale, nous avons un tutoriel vidéo dédié à l'enregistrement audio dans BIAB ici. L'audio est en anglais, mais en utilisant l'icône d'engrenage en bas à droite (ou en haut à droite sur mobile), vous pouvez activer les sous-titres traduits :

BIAB is shorthand for Band-in-a-Box - you'll also see BB used often, and occasionally BiB though I personally don't like that one much.
As for your original question, we have a video tutorial specifically for recording audio into BIAB here - the audio is in English, but using the Gear icon in the bottom right (or top right on mobile) you can enable translated subtitles:
